9 Year old programmer

A child from Malaysia has programmed an iPhone application. The 9 year old created the painting application for his young siblings. While other children were painting and drawing the boy was off programming. He is fluent in 6 other programming languages and has completed 20 programming projects so far. Apparently it only took the boy a few days to complete the programming for the iPhone application.

His father said that if my son can programme, anyone can.

Free downloads from iTunes?

Many rumours recently on whether Apple will be giving away free music downloads from iTunes.

Today, its been heard that Apple may be topping the price on top of our iPods and iPhones for this offer.

Apple may increase prices on iPods and iPhones to give customers free downloads from iTunes for the lifetime of the device. From Yahoo news its believed that around £50 will be added on top of our iPods & iPhones at purchase and also an extra $8 on top of you iPhone bill.

Its been said that Apple are making this move to beat P2P sharing sites.

Would you prepare to part with £50 on top of your iPod purchase or will you carry on using P2P sites?

It’s a good move by Apple but I’m not so sure that many people will pay the extra money.

Vista Upgrade

Yep, Windows are bringing out a vista upgrade, it’s going to include all bug fixes and they say “more security” will be included in the new upgrade.

Most people were unhappy with vista when it was available last year. I have vista on my laptop and I find it a lot better to use than XP. The interface is a lot more glamorous and I found it a lot more easier to use and get around.

It’s a brand new service pack so you can go straight to the Microsoft website now and get it installed. Or you can wait untill ‘mid – April’ to get it automatically installed onto your system. I think I’ll just wait untill mid-April, as I won’t be rushing into downloading it just yet.

Hello and welcome to my blog.

I decided to create a blog just to write about whats happening around my life in the ‘real world’ and on the Internet. Just a brief note to let you know who I am and basically why I decided to create this blog.

Well I’m ‘Emmzah’ I’m a bit of a tech geek if you could put it that way. So mainly my posts on the blog will be about all the side of things technical, but also other things of course!

So you know its early days and hopefully the blog might become a success which I doubt very much. It’s just for a bit of fun so don’t take anything seriously. All comments are welcome on my posts and I will be very happy to reply back!
